What is an LED Dance Floor?

An LED dance floor is a modular flooring system made up of individual 2'x2' panels that light up and change colors. Each panel contains LED pixels that can display solid colors, dynamic effects, or synchronized patterns across the entire floor. The panels connect together to create a seamless dance surface in nearly any size you need.

Sizing & Configuration​

Our LED dance floors are built from 2'x2' modular pieces that connect like puzzle pieces. This means we can configure a floor to fit your exact space—whether you need a compact 8'x8' setup or a grand 20'x20' floor that becomes the centerpiece of your event. We work with you to determine the right size based on your guest count and venue layout.

Because the panels are modular, we can create rectangular, square, or custom shapes to fit your room. Just keep in mind that LED dance floors need to be installed on flat, level surfaces to ensure the panels sit flush and guests can dance safely

How LED Dance Floors Work​

Each 2'x2' panel is packed with individual LED pixels. These pixels can be programmed to display:

• Solid colors – Perfect for matching brand colors, school colors, or wedding palettes

• Pixel effects – Individual lights create animations, patterns, and movement within each panel

• Panel effects – Entire panels light up and shift in coordinated sequences across the whole floor

• Music-reactive mode – With the proper audio input, the floor pulses and changes in sync with the beat

All of this is controlled by an onsite technician who operates the floor throughout your event. The technician ensures everything runs smoothly, switches between modes as needed, and troubleshoots any issues so you can focus on enjoying your event.

Setup & Technical Requirements

LED dance floors include a wiring loom that connects all the panels to the control system. This loom needs to run from the floor to the control station, so it works best when the dance floor is positioned near a stage, DJ booth, or another area where we can easily route the cables without them becoming a tripping hazard.

Our team handles the entire installation and breakdown. We'll arrive early to set up, test the system, and make sure everything is dialed in before your guests arrive. An experienced technician stays onsite throughout your event to operate the floor, adjust settings, and ensure everything runs flawlessly.​​​​
